DMS continues to show its dedication to driving meaningful change in the world and challenging others to do the same.
CLEARWATER, Fla. - PrAtlas -- Digital Media Solutions® (DMS), the leading global martech company leveraging innovative, performance-driven brand and marketplace solutions to connect consumers and advertisers, has proudly announced its pledge to become carbon negative by 20% this year. Jumpstarting its environmental efforts, DMS has committed to four impactful projects that will offset CO2 and contribute to local economies and the health of the people in those communities.
To accomplish the ambitious goal of becoming carbon negative, DMS has partnered with Natural Capital Partners — an established corporation with more than 20 years of experience delivering high quality solutions that ensure immediate, measurable and positive impacts for the environment, society and their businesses. DMS joins a list of high-tier brands who have teamed up with Natural Capital Partners, including Microsoft, UPS and Burt's Bees.
"Nothing matters if we don't make substantial changes to how we're treating the Earth," said DMS CEO Joe Marinucci. "From climate change to pollution, people are destroying our home because they're too focused on efficiency and profitability. It's time to make a change, to think long term and to do everything we can to positively impact the Earth."

Focusing on a new project each quarter, DMS is kicking their first project off in the Colorado Grasslands, working to preserve the short grass prairie of the Colorado Great Plains. Following the company's efforts in Colorado, DMS will work to reforest one million acres of the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley, improve water infrastructure in Sub-Saharan Africa and reduce emissions and protect local biodiversity in Brazil.
"From restoring forests and grasslands in the U.S. to providing improved water infrastructure to communities in Africa, these projects are just the beginning for DMS," added Marinucci. "Becoming carbon negative is no easy feat, and no single company can solve this challenge alone, but we are determined to do our part and leave a positive mark on the Earth. Today and every day moving forward, we are committed to being the change we want to see in the world and challenging others to do their part."
