Diabetes education, Procedure clinic, Saturday hours provide options
FONTANA, Calif. - PrAtlas -- Cucamonga Valley Medical Group's new and expanded services provide more convenient options to improve the patient experience.
The CVMG team consists of providers their patients know and trust. Three examples of this expanded commitment include a diabetes education series, procedure clinics and Saturday clinics.
"Providing an outstanding patient experience is the ultimate goal," said Cucamonga Valley Medical Group CEO Rahmi Mowjood, DO. "We have the capability to provide additional services during expanded hours. We want to provide convenience and quality care to our patients, who have become a part of the CVMG family."
Cucamonga Valley Medical Group has six locations throughout the Inland Empire.
Diabetes Education Series
The CVMG Diabetes Education Series is a comprehensive educational program for patients diagnosed with diabetes and is offered at regular intervals throughout the year. CVMG's team of health care professionals teach patients to self-manage their diabetes by eating healthy, exercising and coping with stress and life changes.

"Our goal is to improve every aspect of their lives," said Dr. Mary Perry, who will head the series. "Providing diabetes education involves much more than just teaching a person how to balance their meals. It involves motivating patients to start an exercise routine or finding new ways to manage their stress."
CVMG provides patients with information about partnering to share blood glucose results, manage medications and annual screenings. In-person coaching also is available to diabetic patients.
Procedure Clinics
Cucamonga Valley Medical Group's Procedure Clinics at the Upland and North Fontana locations offer a wide range of services that provide patients convenient, quality care from a provider they already know and trust.
"You don't have to wait for a referral. It's one stop," said Yumi Wong, a licensed and certified Physician Assistant on the CVMG team.
The CVMG Procedure Clinics address many patient needs ranging from skin/dermatological treatments; shoulder and knee joint injections; toenail removals; trigger point injections; catheter removals; IUD removals; PICC line removals; biopsies; simple laceration repair; and more.
