New international survey joins NaturismRE's growing research programme, building on published SSM findings and ongoing studies
SYDNEY - PrAtlas -- NaturismRE (NRE) has launched the NRE Health & Wellbeing Survey, an international research initiative gathering real-world perspectives on the environments, behaviours and everyday circumstances people associate with their health and wellbeing.
The survey forms part of an expanding NRE research programme that has already generated thousands of responses.
It builds on the Standardised Stigma Measure (SSM), with Phase 1 findings already published and Phase 2 ongoing, while the Non-Sexual Nudity Motivations Study (NSNMS) continues to collect responses.
NRE has also launched a dedicated Night Workers Health & Wellbeing Survey, examining the particular experiences of people working overnight.
Evidence before assumptions
NRE's research programme is built around a straightforward principle:
Ask first. Measure. Analyse. Then draw conclusions from the evidence.
The Health & Wellbeing Survey asks participants directly about their experiences, behaviours, environments and perceptions relating to health and wellbeing.
More on PrAtlas
The Night Workers survey provides a more targeted investigation, examining issues including fatigue, recovery after night work, workplace conditions, commuting after shifts, microsleep and road-safety experiences, as well as workplace support.
Together with SSM and NSNMS, these studies allow NRE to investigate different dimensions of health, wellbeing, behaviour and social attitudes rather than relying on assumptions about people's experiences.
Connecting research with practical frameworks
The research programme also complements the recently published NRE Health & Wellbeing Matrix™.
The Matrix provides structured comparisons across everyday, urban and natural environments, considering environmental conditions and different levels of exposure that may interact with health and wellbeing.
While the Matrix provides a framework for exploration, NRE's surveys gather reported experiences and perceptions directly from participants.
Together, they can help identify patterns and areas warranting further investigation.
Research without membership or paywalls
Participation in NRE surveys does not require NRE membership.
Survey access, published findings and NRE's wider research resources are made publicly available without membership, subscription or paywall and can also be accessed through the free NRE App.

Knowledge is power. NRE does not gatekeep knowledge or lock it behind membership or a paywall. NRE makes knowledge freely accessible to all.
Further findings and analyses will be published as the research programmes develop.
