The low-fare airline, Swoop announced it would be opening a hub at PIE and will be offering service to the Hamilton, Ontario airport starting in November of 2021.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - PrAtlas -- Snowbirds from the Ontario region of Canada who winter in St Petersburg Florida, this year you will be impressed to know before their friends that Swoop airlines has flights from the St Petersburg -Clearwater Airport ("PIE") to the Hamilton or Toronto airports when returning to Canada at the end of snowbird season in May 2022.
